Special right of termination

The special right of termination allows a policy to be cancelled outside the regular notice periods. It arises in specific situations: after a premium increase by the insurer, following a claim, when the insured item is sold (e.g. car or property), or when the insured risk ceases to exist. The deadline is usually one month after the triggering event.
