How it works

3 steps to the right insurance.

No account, no sales calls — just information.

01

We explain what each insurance covers, what's mandatory and what's voluntary — in plain language, without jargon.

02

Explore providers

We show you which providers exist, what's typically included, and what to watch out for in the fine print.

03

Compare prices yourself

For current prices, we recommend our advertising partners Check24 and Tarifcheck — one click to the comparison.

Common questions

What people often ask.

Yes — no cost for you. EeV24.de is an information portal — we explain insurance but do not sell or broker contracts. If you click our partner links to Check24 or Tarifcheck and sign up there, we receive a referral fee (affiliate). This is clearly marked with * (Advertisement).
EeV24.de is an independent information portal without an insurance broker licence (§34d GewO). Current prices depend on many individual factors — vehicle, no-claims class, region. For a personalised price comparison, use Check24 or Tarifcheck (Advertisement).
Two are legally mandatory: Kfz-Haftpflicht (car liability — if you own a car) and Krankenversicherung (health insurance — either GKV or PKV). Everything else is voluntary — but some, like Haftpflicht for daily life, are strongly recommended.
Check24 and Verivox are licensed comparison portals — they show live prices and broker contracts. EeV24.de explains insurance in 4 languages (DE, EN, UK, RU) — with no sales interest, no pressure. Ideal for migrants and expats who are new to the German insurance system.
Most contracts can be cancelled with 1 month's notice at year end (by end of November). You then sign up directly with the new provider online. Use our advertising partners Check24 or Tarifcheck for a price comparison.

EeV24.de is an independent information portal and not a licensed insurance broker (§34d GewO). We do not broker insurance contracts. Links marked * are affiliate links (Advertisement) — we receive a fee at no extra cost to you.
