Mallorca policy (extended EU car hire cover)

The Mallorca policy is an extension to German car liability insurance that activates when renting a vehicle in another EU country. Some EU countries have legally required minimum coverage limits far lower than Germany's. The Mallorca policy tops up the foreign rental car insurer's cover to the German level. Many German car policies already include this as standard.
