Progression (accident insurance)

The progression multiplier in accident insurance means that higher degrees of disability result in disproportionately higher payouts. For example, with a 225% progression and 50% disability, a significantly larger sum than half the insured amount is paid. The higher the degree of disability, the more the progression amplifies the payout. It is especially valuable for severe accident outcomes.
