Seasonal number plate
A seasonal number plate allows a vehicle to be used only during a specific period of the year — typically 2 to 11 months. Outside this period, the vehicle may not be driven on public roads and is not insured. Seasonal plates are popular for motorcycles, motorhomes, and convertibles. The car insurance premium is lower than for a full-year registration.
