Roadside assistance cover

Roadside assistance cover (Schutzbrief) is an add-on to car insurance that covers breakdown help, towing, overnight costs and repatriation of the vehicle or passengers in the event of a breakdown or accident — both in Germany and abroad. It is often cheaper than a separate ADAC membership and is already included in many tariffs.
