Deductible (legal insurance)

The deductible in legal insurance is the amount the policyholder pays themselves in the event of a claim. It is agreed at the time of contract and typically ranges from €150 to €500. A higher deductible reduces the annual premium but increases the personal cost risk. Policyholders should consider which deductible fits their financial situation.
