No-claims discount class (SF class)

The SF class (Schadenfreiheitsklasse) reflects how many years you have driven without claiming insurance. The higher your SF class, the lower your car insurance premium. Filing a claim results in a downgrade (Rückstufung) to a lower class. New drivers typically start at SF 0 or SF ½.
