Supplementary dental insurance

Supplementary dental insurance tops up the statutory health insurance for dental treatments and prosthetics. The GKV only pays a fixed subsidy; more expensive care such as implants, crowns, or high-quality dental work must otherwise be paid out of pocket. With supplementary dental insurance, up to 100% of costs can be covered, depending on the plan and scope of benefits.
